European Patient’s Forum se complace en compartir la nueva y emocionante edición de Skills Training for Young Patient Advocates (STYPA), ¡centrándose en la escasez! Siéntase libre de compartir con los pacientes jóvenes de su organización.

¿Qué es STYPA?

STYPA es una oportunidad emocionante y única que ofrece un curso personalizado de alta calidad para pacientes jóvenes o representantes de pacientes jóvenes, brindando el espacio para profundizar en el importante tema de la escasez. Algunos de los temas de enfoque incluyen:

• ¿Por qué ocurre la escasez en primer lugar?
• ¿Cómo los pacientes pueden ser parte de la escena de acceso y escasez?
• ¿Cuáles son los aspectos normativos que los pacientes deben conocer?

¿Cuándo y dónde?

• Seminario web de introducción – junio de 2023;
• La reunión presencial de STYPA se llevará a cabo los días 13, 14, 15 y 16 de julio de 2023, en Riga, Letonia;
• Seminarios web del taller de seguimiento: septiembre y octubre de 2023;
• Webinar de cierre – Octubre 2023.

*Tenga en cuenta que EPF cubrirá el viaje y el alojamiento de todos los participantes aceptados en el curso.

¿Para quién?

Los solicitantes deben ser:

• Paciente joven con una enfermedad/afección crónica y/o de por vida que está afiliado a una organización de pacientes,
• Paciente joven con una enfermedad/afección crónica y/o de por vida que no está afiliado a una organización de pacientes,
• Joven Empleado o voluntario de una organización de pacientes,
• Alternativamente, un miembro de la familia/cuidador de un paciente joven con una enfermedad/afección crónica o de por vida puede asistir a la capacitación si acompaña a un paciente joven y es al mismo tiempo un defensor activo del paciente.
• 18 – 30 años de edad en el momento de la solicitud,
• Vivir en Europa.

– Why do shortages happen in the first place? 
– How can patients be a part of the access and shortages scene? 
– What are the regulatory aspects that patients must be aware of? 

When and where?

·       Introduction webinar – June 2023;

·       The face-to-face meeting of STYPA will be held on 13,14,15 and 16 July 2023, in Riga, Latvia;

·       Follow up workshop webinars – September and October 2023;

·       Closing webinar – October 2023. 

*Please, note that EPF will cover travel and accommodation for all accepted participants in the course. 

Who is it for?
Applicants must be:

• Young Patient with a chronic and/or lifelong illness/condition who is affiliated with a patient organisation,
• Young Patient with a chronic and/or lifelong illness/condition who is not affiliated with a patient organisation,
• Young Employee or volunteer of a patient organisation,
• Alternatively, a family member/carer of a young patient with a chronic and/or lifelong illness/condition can attend the training if he/she accompanies a young patient and is at the same time an active patient advocate,
•  18 – 30 years of age at the time of applying,
• Living in Europe.
